Zusammenfassung: | Collaborative information retrieval has been conducted for a long time. On the other hand, the details of communication in the collaborative information retrieval behaviour process have not been clarified. Aiming to contribute to effective support for the collaborative information retrieval behaviour, this study tries to understand communication. Dialogue between 16 people in five groups working on a collaborative information retrieval behaviour task were analysed. The results revealed that among the behaviours constituting collaborative information retrieval behaviour, communication between actors was particularly active in the behaviours that orientate the retrieval and task, such as the recognition of collaborative information needs, sharing of retrieval results and new information needs, and co-ordination of information retrieval behaviour. Furthermore, it was found that, in these behaviours, claims and questions are presented, as previous studies have suggested. In this study, it was revealed that claims and questions encompasses a variety of roles and functions that are indispensable for co-ordination and retrieval. |
