Zusammenfassung:This report describes studies using a model of subcutaneous implantation in mice to study the biological reactions occurring around carbon-carbon composite implants coated with non-stoichiometric hydroxyapatite with subsequent annealing. Histological and X-ray studies showed that the coating preparation technique stimulates a number of biological reactions in the body in model animals, leading to an increase in the bioresorption efficiency of the implanted structure. The study results are useful for assessing the prospects for the use of carbon implants and methods for stimulating the required biological reactions.
