Zusammenfassung:This study focused on the buckling characteristics of egg-shaped shells with single cracks and double cracks under axial pressure. First, the geometric parameters of the egg-shaped shell were designed, and a numerical model of the egg-shaped shell was established. Then, the initial crack was introduced into the equatorial weld of the egg-shaped shell, and the effect of the crack on the buckling characteristics under different wall thicknesses was explored, as well as the influence of crack angle and crack spacing on buckling characteristics under double cracks. The results indicate that there are three buckling modes of cracked egg-shaped shells, and the transition of these three modes is influenced by the length of the crack. When the egg-shaped shell contains double cracks, the impact on the ultimate load is greater when the two cracks are parallel. When the distance between the centers of two cracks exceeds a certain distance, it can be treated as a single-crack situation. The research results have practical reference value for the design of egg-shaped shells subjected to axial loads.
