Zusammenfassung:The bogie frame structure is one of the crucial components of a High-Speed Train under development. The bogie frame design needs to be verified to meet the standard. The work focused on analyzing the static load of the High-Speed Train (HST) bogie frame under several conditions. The static load of the HST bogie frame was examined by a finite element method under seven load cases determined based on the EN 13749 standard. The simulation result shows the highest stress of 474 MPa under full-load operation while braking on curvy tracks that are twisted (load case 7). The result indicates that lateral loading in the case of driving on a curved track plays a significant role in drastic stress increase. In this case, the highest stress of the bogie frame HST is over the material SS400 yield strength, hence the design of bogie frame HST is unsafe from the static load. Therefore, some design improvement needs to be applied to the bogie frame, such as additional stiffener and thickness adjustment to the specific location of stress concentration. Another option is to replace the material with higher-strength steel.
