Zusammenfassung:With burgeoning technologies, comes novel ideas that could potentially boost businesses and solve existing problems in the contemporary world. Tremendous advantages of the hybrid realm of the Internet of Things and Machine Learning can be rightly exploited for large benefits. One instance of day-to-day activities is the necessity to wait in long queues at the billing counters in shopping malls, which could be tiresome. Also, any strategy that has been made to improve sales in shopping malls is futile. This paper, hence, proposes a system that attempts to improve customer convenience as well as aims to maximize sales. An IoT-based approach using ESP32 and RFID modules is adopted, combined with Data Mining techniques to achieve the motive. Also, this paper describes how the billing data is transferred over Wi-Fi to different devices, the transaction of data between ESP32 and Firebase, and methodologies adopted to improve sales by recommending products to customers based on transactional history by creating a user interface.
