Zusammenfassung:For urban houseplant enthusiasts with limited space, indoor vertical farming (IVF) is a solution. Not only does it save space, but it also makes monitoring easier. Many artificial conditions must be added to match the desired growth and development conditions of plants. This study is part of agricultural IVF research for precision farming systems. As part of this research, an intelligent pest control concept was developed using a fuzzy logic control system. Fuzzy logic control systems are designed based on environmental preferences. The influencing factors are pest abundance, temperature, and relative humidity, resulting in pest control. The use of this automatic pest control system is expected to help farmers care for ornamental plants. As a case study, this study used the control of the pest leafhopper on the growth of ornamental azalea plants. These results demonstrate the feasibility of an in vitro fertilization system using fuzzy logic, and it is expected that further research applying this logic will be conducted in the future. From the simulation results, it can be concluded that this FIS (fuzzy inference system) is suitable and can be used for further development, such as pesticide spraying according to plant conditions.
