Zusammenfassung:We developed the method for evaluation of the stability of electroluminescent materials by using QEMS (quantum efficiency measurement system). Relative PL (photoluminescence) intensity decay of BDs (blue dopants) with BHs (blue hosts) in solution under UV light irradiation were measured and the rate constants for polaron pair formation by electron transfer were determined through first‐order kinetics analyses. The rate constants of polaron pair formation (6.487E‐04 –1.805E‐03 min‐1 ) were inversely proportional to the lifetime of OLED (organic light‐emitting diode) devices. We expect that this evaluation method can be applied to the development of new OLED materials and longer lifetime OLED devices.
