Zusammenfassung: | The objective of this descriptive, quantitative field research is to analyze, in the context of Co vid-19, the Aesthetic dimension of media competence in 2,158 social network users from three universities (Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador). Users tend to have a medium level of media competence in the domain indicators of Analysis (35.6%) and Expression (42.8%). Men do not differ from women in their media competence for each participant, both in the Analysis (p=0.568) and Expression (p=0.600) dimensions, but there are differences in the media competence of citizens in the three countries studied.
