Zusammenfassung: | Municipal administrative management plays a crucial role in the progress of local communities, with its effectiveness and efficiency being determining factors for the economic growth and sustainable development of a region. Therefore, it is essential to understand how local governments approach administrative management with a view to promoting sustainable practices. This research focuses on analyzing municipal administrative management from a global and multidimensional perspective, examining both its competencies and its phases and dimensions. The methodology employed is a systematic literature review using PRISMA. Among the findings, the thematic diversity in municipal management stands out, with a particular focus on performance evaluation and quality. The main competencies of local governments include the promotion of social welfare and sustainable development. The key dimensions of administrative management focused on sustainability encompass social, organizational, environmental, economic, and political aspects, highlighting the complexity of municipal management. Strategic planning is identified as essential, along with a balanced focus on all phases of implementation, control, and improvement. This research provides an understanding of how local governments can play a fundamental role in improving the quality of life of their communities through effective and sustainable management. |
