Revolutionizing package delivery with IoT-based smart boxes: Solving the Dilemma of missed deliveries

This study aimed to develop a smart box for receiving packages that utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) technology, which can be monitored and controlled remotely. The problem addressed is the inconvenience of customers when packages arrive while they are away, causing delays or even failed deliveries. The smart box was tested, and results showed that it functioned well, allowing for scheduled package deliveries and monitoring via IoT connection, regardless of distance. The implications of this study are significant, as it addresses the growing demand for online shopping and e-commerce, offering a solution to a common problem faced by customers and logistics parties.
