Zusammenfassung:Cell behaviors are regulated by the physical cues in their microenvironment, where extracellular fluid (ECF) viscosity is an important yet relatively underexplored cue. Recent evidence indicates that ECF viscosity plays a critical role in regulating cellular processes with pathological relevance to various diseases, such as cardiovascular related diseases, inflammatory diseases, and cancer.
