Zusammenfassung:Concrete reinforced with stainless steel fibres (SSFRC) is a composite material made of cement, aggregates, water, and stainless steel fibres. In comparison to conventional concrete, this kind of concrete offers improved mechanical qualities, such as greater tensile strength, ductility, and crack resistance. Concrete that has stainless steel fibres added to it has increased corrosion resistance and durability, making it appropriate for usage in severe situations. An overview of the characteristics and uses of SSFRC, as well as the production procedure and design factors to take into account, are given in this abstract. Due to its better mechanical qualities and durability, stainless steel fibre reinforced concrete (SSFRC) is a form of composite material that is being utilised in construction more frequently. SSFRC is created by incorporating stainless steel fibres into a cement-based mixture, making it significantly stronger and less prone to corrosion and cracking than conventional concrete. An overview of the characteristics of SSFRC, such as its high tensile strength, ductility, and resistance to chemical and physical harm, is given in this abstract. The production procedure for SSFRC is also covered in this abstract, along with the crucial design factors that need to be taken into account when employing this material in construction projects.
