Zusammenfassung: | The welding process determines the heat transfer characteristics, liquid metal flow in the weld pool, weld morphology and properties, etc. The study of welding is of great importance for designing the welding process and predicting the weld quality. In recent years, welding scholars have been committed to theoretical analysis of the dynamic information of gas metal arc welding (GMAW) through numerical simulation and combined with experimental studies to find the relationship between the welding process—dynamic parameters of the welding process—welding quality. Based on the available data, this paper takes the welding process of gas metal arc welding as the object, reviews the development of numerical simulation of GMAW in recent years, analyzes the problems existing in the numerical simulation theory and model, and predicts the future development direction of numerical simulation. |
