Zusammenfassung: | Around 268,000 people living in the UK today have been diagnosed with bowel cancer, which will be diagnosed in one's lifetime in one in fifteen males and one in eighteen females in the UK. Traditional colonoscopies are complex and painful for patients. The research aims to design a new colonoscopy instrument to solve this problem. After theoretical calculation, modeling, assembling the electronic control system, the mechanical structure of the new colonoscopy instrument is presented. By using software, including MATLAB for data processing and Arduino for programming, the instrument is tested to be more accurate and efficient. It is more advanced that new colonoscopy instrument can lessen patients' discomfort and carry out more challenging treatments. In addition, it is crucial to obtain informed permission, and healthcare professionals must respect patients' right to autonomy and act in their best interests even when they believe a procedure will almost certainly improve their quality of life. |
