Zusammenfassung: | Any company’s main objective is to satisfy the wants of its clients, hence value has evolved to be defined in terms of the client. Organizations that identify and get rid of all waste types must use value stream mapping (VSM). The developed future value stream map (FVSM) effectively identifies and reduces nonvalue added (NVA) activities in the process after establishing a current value stream map (CVSM) that displays every process that goes into the creation of a product. To reduce waste in the office furniture business, the value stream mapping implementation technique is described in this article. The study emphasizes the VSM’s role in reducing the total cycle time of all associated operations and the non-value-added time from 24.261 minutes to 6.365 minutes to meet the takt time. |
