Zusammenfassung: | Research results of the concentration’s influence of a copper(I) oxide dispersed particles, unencapsulated and encapsulated with polylactide, on changes in the structure and mechanical characteristics of a polymer composition’s surface based on ED-20 epoxy resin after exposure to destructor microorganisms are presented. An increase in the biocidal effect was shown for a composite filled with encapsulated particles compared to a material filled with nonencapsulated particles. The possibility of reducing the concentration of copper(I) oxide particles in a polymer composition while maintaining the biocidal effect due to the encapsulation of dispersed particles with polylactide is substantiated. It has been found that the presence of a polylactide shell on particles leads to a decrease in the influence of a biological destruction on the structure and the polymer composite surface’s mechanical characteristics. |
