Zusammenfassung: | Deep-drawing is a crucial sheet figuration procedure. Diverse method factors are accountable for creating flaw-free deep drawing goods. One of the defining characteristics, the die’s wall curve radius, is one of the process parameters that have been researched since it has a major impact on deep drawing. The purpose of this study is to manufacture and implement an octagonal die and a cylindrical die to make an octagonal cup by cylindrical cup redrawing and to contrast it with the traditional way of make an octagonal cup creating from a circular blank sheet utilized work test (EXP) and finite element analysis (FEA). The results appear first method (the creating an octagonal shape from drawing the blank) that the maximum punch load increases by 1.34 times on the amount of force obtained in the second method. The maximum thinning is (7.108%) at the corner radius region to the octagonal cup made in a first way. The maximum value of the effective strain in the first way is increased by 36.48% on the amount of the effective strain in a second way at the edge of the cup (the corner radius region). Furthermore, we infer that the second way gives a superior octagonal cup to the first one. |
