Zusammenfassung: | In this research, coffee beans powder was used as a natural material and their effect was studied as a reinforcement material on the composite material, where epoxy was used as a matrix and a layer of woven glass fibers. The results showed good mechanical properties after adding different weight fractions of (5%,10%,15%,20%,25%)wt of coffee beans powder (C.B). The best results for the mechanical properties were obtained when adding (20 %) C.B, where the ultimate tensile strength was in the value of (47.2) Mpa, the modulus of elasticity in the value of (0.83) GPa, the flexural strength in the value of (61.805) MPa, and the hardness in the value of (79.4) Shore-D, while the highest value of impact strength was at adding (25%)C.B which is (17)KJ/m2. |
