Multipurpose Complex Based on the C-80 Cyclotron

A project of a multipurpose complex based on the C-80 cyclotron located at the Konstantinov Nuclear Physics Institute, National Research Center “Kurchatov Institute,” is presented. The complex is equipped with target stations that allow the production of a wide range of radioisotopes, including isotopically pure alpha emitters, for the diagnosis of oncological, cardiovascular, and neurological diseases. A system for releasing, forming, and transporting a therapeutic proton beam is being created to provide services for proton therapy of ophthalmological diseases.
