Zusammenfassung:The development of compact linear accelerator for medical radiation therapy facility has come to the final stage of production at NRNU MEPhI for “Rusatom Healthcare”. The developed linac will be used to generate a photon flux for the external beam therapy for the cancer treatment. Generation of the photon flux in the linac’s target is the topic of this article. The paper presents the results of the Monte-Carlo simulations for the radiation spectrums and directivity without applying a flattening filter or external collimation.
