Modeling of construction of railway transportation routes based on the criteria of cost and terms of transportation

Optimization of railway logistics is an extremely urgent task due to changes in logistics chains, the development of the transport and logistics system as an infrastructure of a new technological order, solving environmental problems – reducing CO2 emissions. The author proposes a model for reducing the empty mileage of wagons. With further modification, this model can be implemented in software for the purpose of increasing the economic efficiency of rail transportation.
