Zusammenfassung:	Ganoderma Karst., a rot causing and lignin degrading genus of wild mushrooms exhibits remarkable variability in the basidiome morphology often leading to inconclusive species identification by conventional taxonomic procedure. Present study by making use of integrated morpho-anatomical and molecular approach of identification, recorded G. leucocontextum as a new addition to the wild mushroom flora of India.
