Zusammenfassung: | The fintech industry has been dramatically transformed by Big Data, enabling companies to improve decision-making, analyse customer behaviour and develop innovative products such as personalised investment portfolios, risk-based pricing and fraud detection. However, it has also brought potential threats in terms of security and financial stability. The importance of Big Data in fintech is expected to increase as the industry grows, providing companies with a competitive advantage and improved customer service. In this paper, we perform a bibliometric review of 354 articles, indexed in Web of Science, revealing that Big Data is recognised as a critical driver of innovation and disruption in the financial industry. This paper contributes to the current knowledge by offering insights into research trends and emerging issues related to Big Data in fintech. Most literature on Big Data in the fintech industry focuses on the impact, risk management and implications for businesses. |
