Zusammenfassung:It is widely known that switching characteristics are affected by parasitic parameters, i.e., stray inductance and capacitance, present in the main circuit of voltage source inverters. In this study, the influence of stray capacitance on the switching characteristics is investigated based on a switching model of a half-bridge inverter that incorporates both stray inductance and capacitance. We constructed two prototype inverters having different stray capacitances. The experimental results show that additional stray capacitance increases switching loss.
