Zusammenfassung: | One of the most significant applications of SBS is as the modifier in modified asphalt. However, the emulsified asphalt modified by traditional SBS solid particles or SBS latex has the disadvantages of high emulsification requirements, cumbersome process and high solvent toxicity. In this paper, the non-ionic SBS latex modifier was prepared by using low toxic solvent cyclohexane. Firstly, parameters such as water addition, emulsifier dosage and stabilizer dosage were investigated through orthogonal experiments to determine the formulation of non-ionic SBS latex. Non-ionic SBS latex with about high solid content (40%), uniform particle size (1.5 μm) and good storage stability was successfully prepared. Secondly, non-ionic SBS latex modified cationic/anionic emulsified asphalt was prepared by mechanical mixing method. The effect of SBS latex dosage on the performance of different ionic emulsified asphalts was investigated. The conventional performance of the modified emulsified asphalt was tested, and thermal analysis and microscopic characterization were carried out by DSC, SEM and fluorescence microscopy. The test results show that the prepared SBS latex can be used to modify cationic emulsified asphalt and anionic emulsified asphalt, and the modification effect meets the requirements of relevant standards. This study contributes to the widespread application and development of SBS-modified emulsified asphalt. |
