Zusammenfassung:In failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), the method of assessing the likelihood of detection of a specific failure mode is considered. Its strengths and weaknesses are noted. An approach is proposed for taking account of the combined influence of several detection methods for different types of risks in the production process on the severity of their consequences. An example illustrates the assessment of the detection probability in FMEA by the proposed approach.
