Zusammenfassung:Using balanced panel data from 2000 to 2019 across 10 Southeast Asian economies, this study attempts to examine the effects of outward EDI and other factors on economic growth. EDI outflows, political stability, and savings have a positive impact on economic growth. Outward EDI is necessary for ASEAN's economic expansion because it facilitates knowledge and technology transfer, both of which are essential for sustainable growth. As such, the majority of the countries in Southeast Asia are embracing outward EDI with the goal of increasing productivity and, hence, promoting economic growth.
