SUCH STUFF AS DREAMS

This is the first in a series of articles outlining practical games for poetry writing workshops, by poet Richard Berengarten. These games have been shaped and developed with participants varying in age from primary school juniors to sixth formers, from university students to pensioners, and with both native speakers and non-native speakers of English. Incidentally, the word participants is used here rather than students or pupils and, similarly, workshop rather than class or lesson. The second in this series will explore some riddle games.
