Zusammenfassung:Subcutaneous Administration of Monoclonal Antibodies Alexandre Detappe and co‐workers developed a novel chitosan‐based hydrogel formulation for minute‐mixing with clinically approved intravenous‐based monoclonal antibodies to reformulate them for subcutaneous administration, the preferred method of administration for patients. They validated this innovative formulation in both mice and nonhuman primates, confirming biocompatibility, biodegradability, and controlled sustained release properties.
