Zusammenfassung:This study aims to investigate the state of linguistic research in Indonesia using a bibliometric method. The results show that there has been relatively little interest in linguistic studies by Indonesian authors in the past decade, with only 115 articles found in the Scopus database. However, there has been a significant increase in publications after 2018, reaching a peak of 25 releases in 2020. Eva Tuckyta Sari Sujatna is the most prolific Indonesian author on linguistic topics. Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia was the most productive affiliation on linguistic topics (8 articles). The literature review on the linguistic challenges of mathematical word problems is the most impactful article in this affiliation, having been cited six times on Scopus. The term "linguistic landscape" appears to be a relevant keyword in their work and is strongly associated with linguistic studies in Indonesia. With a wide variety of cultures, languages, religions, and regions, studying landscape linguistics is becoming an emerging trend related to linguistic studies in Indonesia. The study highlights the current state of linguistic research in Indonesia and identifies areas for further investigation.
