Zusammenfassung: | In buildings, block walls are most used, but block wall compositions are not environment friendly. The need of basalt rock in Bali is 35 m³/month, unfortunately up to 30% of it ends up being a waste in the river causing it to get shorter levels. Bamboo usage in Bali construction has increased, producing 200 kg of bamboo sawdust every day, which contains boric acid, jeopardizing the environment. Bali gives out 525.962 tons with 8.000 kg of Plastic waste that ends up in the river. Waste cooking oil produced in Bali is 258.420 tons/year. A solution is needed to reduce the wastes of basalt, bamboo sawdust, PET plastics, and waste cooking oil, by mixing them as compositions to create an eco-friendly block wall innovation. This research finds the right composition to create effective, light, yet cheap construction materials. This research uses a mix design plan and is laboratory tested. Before making the eco-friendly block, tools and compositions are prepared, which then are mixed thoroughly. Resulting a thick black color. This research has shown that the mixture performed great compressive strength. Production price for 1 m³ of the block is significantly cheaper than common block walls. The block is eco-friendly, cheap, light and has proven to have high compressive strength. |
