Zusammenfassung:The monarchy theory has long been a stumbling block to the interpretation of Hegel's philosophy of law, and it is also one of the sources of Hegel's denigration in the pedigree of political philosophy. In order to save this political image of Hegel, scholars such as Habermas and Ritter, have tried to explore the "young Hegel" that emphasizes intersubjective deliberative democracy and the "Hegel of civil society" that emphasizes civil freedom, thus leading to a debate about "two Hegels." But this is actually an evasive strategy under the premise of acknowledging the existence of arbitrary monarchy. The publication of Lectures on the Philosophy of Right has provided new materials and opportunities for reassessing this theory.
