Zusammenfassung: | In short SDTL cavities operating in the TM010 mode, there are no elements for stabilizing the accelerating field distribution and shifting the nonoperating oscillations. This article considers the dispersion properties of cavities, optimized for maximal shunt impedance. An additional limitation in the development of SDTL cavities is the undesirable proximity of the frequencies of the TM011 and TE111 modes to the operating one. |
