The essential oil had a yield of 0.3%, and contained α-Pinene, 1,8-Cineole, β-Caryophyllene, β-Cubebene, and Myrtenol as major components. The essential oil had a strong aroma of myrtle and demonstrated antimicrobial and antifungal activities. |
