Zusammenfassung:In organic synthesis, azodicarboxylates are frequently used as an aza‐dienophile and electrophilic amination agent. To create carbon–nitrogen bonds, azodicarboxylates typically react with nucleophiles or radicals. This report explores its reactivity as a co‐monomer towards radical polymerization to introduce nitrogen–nitrogen single bonds into the polymer chain. Azodicarboxylates are capable of copolymerizing with styrenic monomers to achieve linear polymers with 40% feed.
