Zusammenfassung: | Neurodiversity, which recognizes and values the differences in individuals with conditions such as autism, dyslexia, and Tourette syndrome, is often overlooked in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. However, incorporating neurodiversity into DEI efforts is crucial for fairness and inclusion, as well as for the benefits that neurodivergent individuals can bring to organizations. Companies like Deloitte, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Microsoft, Ernst & Young, JPMorgan Chase, and SAP have implemented neurodiversity programs and have seen positive outcomes, such as improved innovation, productivity, and cost savings. To fully support neurodivergent employees, managers must embed support activities throughout the employee journey. |
