Zusammenfassung: | In this article, we theoretically investigated the absorption characteristics of the one-dimensional periodic structure versus wavelength with variations in incident angles, the thicknesses of a dielectric layer as well as silver layer, and the number of layers using the straight forward transfer matrix method. The enhanced absorption of the one-dimensional periodic structure is found due to the complex behavior of electric permittivity and refractive index of silver material corresponding to the wavelength. The imaginary part of the complex refractive index plays an eminent role in the absorption properties of the periodic structure. The calculated results are proposed an innovative and informative idea to design optical devices for the applications of science and technology and the society too. The high absorption spectra versus wavelength with the variation of incident angles, and the thicknesses of dielectric and silver layers due to high imaginary refractive index may be useful for broadband at soft UV region and narrowband at hard UV region absorbers. |
