Zusammenfassung: | A hard ceramic ferrite magnetic with a small dimension commonly has lower magnetic field strength than a bigger one. In applications, smaller sizes with higher magnetic field strength are needed. This paper describes a study that aims to increase the magnetic flux density of hard magnet ferrite in a small ring shape with the appropriate magnetization method using electromagnetism from a copper (Cu) metal rod. A magnetic ring ferrite sample was placed on the Cu rod in the center of the fixture coil with fast charging for about 10 seconds. A magnetizer with a voltage of 2500 volts is used to increase the magnetic field around the coil. The magnetizer type used in the magnetization process is MAGNET PHYSIK IM-252-X-MS/DD-C), which is equipped with a fixture coil MAGNET PHYSIK MV-2 "L-TC with a dipolar/diametral direction. The magnetization results show a significant increase in the magnetic flux density of the ferrite compared to ordinary magnetization without a Cu rod. Cu has improved the magnetic field strength of ring ferrite magnets by about 60% (from 400 to 660 gauss). This study helps increase the magnetic flux density of hard magnets with small sizes. |
