Zusammenfassung:Imidazo[1,2- a ]pyrimidine derivatives are a class of biologically active parent nucleus structures containing both imidazole and pyrimidine rings, which are important intermediates for the synthesis of a variety of drugs. This class of structures has attracted a lot of attention of researchers, and more and more synthetic strategies have been developed and reported. Currently, the main synthetic strategies are one-pot multi-component methods, microwave radiation, ultrasonic irradiation and other auxiliary Knoevenagel condensation and Michael addition methods to obtain these compounds, with the aim of achieving high yields, low time consumption and environmental friendliness. This review comprehensively summarizes the various synthetic methods as well as mechanism recently reported for the construction of this remarkable backbone structure and further used for the development of new chemical synthesis strategies and drug development as it has a wide range of applications in medicinal chemistry. In order to provide some impetus to the research of synthetic methods for this structure.
