Zusammenfassung: | Copper plays a very prominent role in the life cycle of a human being depending upon the amount of it present in the body. Copper and its complexes are being highly used in the pharmaceutical world in treating many diseases like cancer, cardiac issues, skin diseases, and many more. Copper complexes do have an important role in maintaining the immunity of a person and also act as a good bioactive agent which in turn intrigued the scientists to dig into more derivatives and complexes of copper which may lead to high progress in the medicinal world based on their high effectiveness compared to others currently being used. Copper complexes and their derivatives are currently in high demand as anti-cancer reagents due to their effective nature and less harmful effect on the cells of the body. herein, we have focused on various copper complexes like [Cu(L)(Phen)], [Cu(TMCPTS)(Phen)] ternary complex, and many more, which function best as anti-cancer drugs. Recent studies in the application of copper complexes in chemotherapies have led to widespread use of these complexes and have motivated me to look deep into highly active drugs for more medical progress in the coming future. |
