Zusammenfassung:This research work investigated the influence of sintering temperature on the structural and magnetic properties of Zn0.2Mg0.8Fe2O4 ferrite synthesized by the sol-gel auto combustion process at different sintering temperatures (400 oC, 600 oC, 800 oC). XRD study confirmed the Zn 0.2Mg0.8Fe2O4 ferrite exhibits cubic symmetry. The crystallite size and unit cell volume are increasing as the sintering temperature increases. FTIR spectrum shows the vibrational band near 600 cm−1 to 400 cm−1 which are corresponding to the tetrahedral and octahedral sites respectively. FESEM micrographs show the inhomogenous microstructure and agglomeration due to the existence of magnetic interactions. EDX study indicates the presence of all the elements in the sample.VSM reveals that the saturation magnetization increases as the temperature increases. The soft ferromagnetic nature was exhibited by all the prepared samples owing to its low coercivity value and found its application in power and electromagnetic devices.
