Zusammenfassung:In recent days, photonic detection is a developing innovation to develop biosensors/biological sensors, which is appealing because of its accuracy and small size. In this paper, we proposed a 2D structure of a photonic crystal for the recognition of M-protein in blood serum to detect multiple myeloma in a person. The refractive index (RI) of the blood serum depends on the presence of M-protein and electrolyte in blood serum, the sensor output is going to vary based on the presence of protein by this multiple myeloma is recognized. Here, we proposed a 6 × 6 µm-sized photonic crystal structure by using a technique called FDTD, for the examination and designing of the photonic crystal structure, we used a tool called Lumerical. We found that as the RI of the blood serum changes, there will be an extensive change in transmission flux, henceforth, it goes about as sensors and can be implemented for clinical application.
