Zusammenfassung:—The effect of a pulsed magnetic field (PMF) on the structure and properties of AlSi10Mg alloy plates produced by selective laser melting is studied. The action of a PMF is found to favor the formation of compressive stresses at the plate surface, which positively affects the strength of products. At a pulse current of ≈26 kA, the microhardness increases by 30–40% as compared to the state before PMF processing.
