Zusammenfassung: | The concern of transmitting data through the wireless channels with high efficiency, performance is an important issue in recent decades, especially if the data contains higher bit rates. For this reason, various types of modulation and multicarrier transmission techniques have been used such as Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), which uses the parallel data streams and transmits several carriers at the same time. The aim of this research is to study and evaluate the OFDM performance in an Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel, in which the path between the transmitter and the receiver be existent with different attenuation values of the noise is considered. The OFDM was used to ensure increasing the bitrates and eliminating the effect of multipath by using the orthogonally subcarriers, then many type of data will be sent such as: random data, audio, and image to discuss and experience the efficiency of OFDM. The proposed system will be implemented by MATLAB, and in order to find the results then check the performance of the system, MSE (Mean Square Error), PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio), BER (Bit Error Rate), SSSNR (Segmental Spectral Signal to Noise Ratio) and NC (Normalized correlation) will be used. The results shows that this system is good throughout this type of channel for different types of data. |
