Zusammenfassung:This paper describes the development of an automated Mud Card Class Feedback System. The idea of this system is based on the muddy card technique discovered by MIT University which was used to improve learning strategies by receiving student feedback at the end of the class. The background of this technique is based on Mosteller, where he advised lecturers to allocate the latest three or four minutes of lecture ask their students on these three questions: “What was the most important point in the lecture?”, “What was the muddiest point?” and “What would you like to hear more about?” There is currently no digital student feedback system that is based on this technique. Thus, based on the concept of the muddy card technique, we proposed to develop automated mud card class feedback system with these features such as keyword extract, sort and filter feedback functions, and automated attendance system. Google Firebase, VS Code and Ionic Framework were utilized to develop the automated mud card feedback system. It is a hybrid application available in web and Android platform. The strengths of the system is that it is automated, which provides continuous improvement in lecturers’ teaching methods and students engagements in class. It also offers automated attendance system that records students’ attendance in class. The limitations of this system are that it is not available in IOS platform and lack of security features. In future, we aim to make mud card class feedback system as all-in-one application by adding additional features such as file sharing, provide help ticket system and quiz system.
