Zusammenfassung:Keladi Tikus, from the genus Typhonium, has the potential to be developed as herbal medicine. Many people use the plant traditionally for curing piles, stomach aches, and coughs. Recently, it has been used extensively as a cancer adjuvant therapy. Similar phenotypic characteristics among Typhonium challenging to distinguish from others. Thus, analysis of genotypic authentication by assessing and exploiting their genetic diversity is essential for conservation, breeding, and plant utilization for medical purposes. This study aims to reveal genetic diversity and relationships among Typhonium species in Java Island using RAPD markers. Ten accessions of Typhonium flagelliforme were collected from West Java, Central Java, and East Java. Four accessions of Typhonium roxburghii and one accession of Typhonium blumei were included in the analysis. Results showed separating the two species clusters in a dendrogram constructed using UPGMA. The phylogenetic relationship among species in T. flagelliforme seems to connect with their geographical separation.
