Zusammenfassung:Coordination of the motion of two working components in a CNC metal-cutting machine is possible by means of an algorithm for generating correction signals in the speed control loop of the supply drives. The proposed mathematical model predicts the speed signals in real time to permit the generation of the required correction signals. This approach ensures the required machining precision, with corresponding increase in the speed. That boosts the productivity of the machine tool and the final surface quality of the workpiece.
