Zusammenfassung: | Bimetallic nickel catalysts were prepared by the co-impregnation method and evaluated for the competitive benzene hydrogenation at the temperature range of 150–210 °C. Benzene hydrogenation is very noticeable, not only because of compliance with the environmental regulations to reduce the carcinogenic effects of this substance, but also to produce the valuable chemicals for preventing the degradation of fuel quality (octane number). Nickel containing bimetallic composites were characterized using FT-IR, X-ray diffraction, SEM, N

adsorption-desorption and EDX techniques. The effects of some factors such as promotor type and reaction temperature on activity, selectivity and specific rates of catalysts were investigated. The Best results of the conversion and selectivity were achieved at 170 °C and 150 °C, respectively, for NiMo/Zr-Kit-6-13X and NiAg/Zr-Kit-6-13X. |
