Zusammenfassung:	Postoperative left ventricular pseudoaneurysm is a rare, but potentially lethal, complication because of the high risk of rupture and high mortality of repair. We report a 64-year-old man with Marfan syndrome who underwent the reimplantation valve-sparing aortic root replacement complicated by a postoperative left ventricular pseudoaneurysm that required urgent repair. Careful handling of the aortic root is required to avoid a left ventricular pseudoaneurysm, particularly in patients with connective tissue disorder.
