Zusammenfassung: | Finite petroleum reserves and stringent environmental regulations stimulate the development of alternative fuels that are economically viable and clean. The diesel fuel (C10-20 hydrocarbons) derived from syngas by Fischer- Tropsch synthesis (FTS) is a promising choice, as it has the merits of low sulfur and aronaatic contents, reduced NO, and particulate emissions, and high cetane number. Howev- er, the Anderson-Schulz-Flory (ASF) distribution imposes severe limitation on the selectivity towards diesel of only 39% over conventional FTS catalysts. |
